2024 Indiana Basketball Recruiting Board: Late September update
As the end of the month nears, Indiana is still in search of its first commitment in the 2024 class.
The Hoosier coaching staff set its sights high with this class, opting to target some of the nation’s best prospects.
With less than two months until November’s early signing period, IU now has three main targets left on the board for 2024.
Since our last update, a couple of prospects have been removed from the list of targets. Annor Boateng, who was scheduled to visit Bloomington this coming weekend, committed to Missouri.
According to The Daily Memphian, Curtis Givens III is no longer considering IU and is focused on Memphis, Texas and LSU.
That leaves Liam McNeeley, Derik Queen and Boogie Fland as the primary targets in IU’s 2024 recruiting efforts.
McNeeley is down to IU and Kansas after recently eliminating Texas from his list of schools. Queen is still considering IU, Maryland, Kansas, Houston and LSU. Fland doesn’t have a firm list of schools he’s announced publicly, but recently took official visits to Alabama and Kentucky. Indiana is still working to get him back on campus this fall for a senior year official visit.
Tyler Betsey, who visited Bloomington in June, remains on the board but the Hoosiers are not expected to land his commitment.
