It’s now Indiana using a ball screen for a lefty going the other way. Geronimo sets one for Durham, but with space left, he takes it:

Durham draws Omoruyi on the help, leaving Thompson open in the paint:

Durham makes the pass out of the double team:

Harper Jr. doesn’t help. Omoruyi stays on the ground. But as Thompson rolls the ball out of his hand on this point-blank shot, it comes out a little weird:

It hits the back of the rim and misses:

Thompson is able to try another shot attempt again on a tip:

But it heads over the whole basket and Omoruyi grabs the board:

You can’t get a better look than this. But leave it to these Hoosiers to miss it. Along with his ball screen defense, this was a rough stretch of game for Thompson.
