Lander passes to Thompson on the right wing. Brown hangs near the left elbow, as Michigan is playing a bit of zone:

With Brown still hanging in the same spot, Lander hangs back several feet behind the 3-point line with space. Thompson passes it back to him:

From there, Brown has a long closeout as Lander is immediately ready to catch and shoot several feet behind the line:

Lander rises, fires and hits the 3-pointer:

Lander hasn’t been efficient from deep this season (28.6 percent) and we’ve seen a number of airballs. Still, he continues to be ready to shoot instead of shying away, and it paid off here.
