Film Session: Iowa

Here’s Blackmon Jr. throwing a cross court pass to Johnson once again after Tyler Cook put the Hawkeyes on top for the first time all game:

The Hoosiers swing the ball around the perimeter and Blackmon Jr. passes it into Thomas Bryant on the right low post:

On the double team, Bryant passes it back out to Blackmon Jr.:

Blackmon Jr. tries putting a move on Jordan Bohannon left:

He’s not able to get around him. So Blackmon Jr. pivots right and tosses another pass to Bryant. But the angle simply isn’t there this time around:

So Bryant has to go track the errant pass down into the corner and he saves it from going out of bounds:

Blackmon Jr. jumps for the saved ball, but it lands with Peter Jok:

Jok comes down the court and finds Christian Williams, who’s fouled by Johnson. He missed both free throw attempts:

Bryant was marked for the turnover on the stat sheet, but it was Blackmon Jr.’s poor pass that caused it.
