In the first overtime period, Penn State really exploited the backline of Indiana’s zone. As we see here, on an entry pass to the middle, Davis is stuck in no man’s land between Lamar Stevens and Julian Moore:
Davis moves up a bit to Stevens as he receives the pass:
From there it’s a simple turn and pass to Moore. Johnson comes over from the weak side to bring help:
But Moore puts the ball on the ground and Johnson goes right by it:
Moore has position on Davis and rises up to jam it home:
