Davis backs Mike Watkins down and pivots to get position to the hoop on the left block. Meanwhile Payton Banks has interior position on Freddie McSwain:
On the shot, Banks has McSwain boxed out:
But McSwain is the aggressor grabbing the ball as Banks cowers:
McSwain puts a dribble down and rises up to hit the second-chance bucket over Watkins:
It was rebounds like these — when IU didn’t have the advantage to the weak side board — that led to the Hoosiers rebounding 57.1 percent of their misses in the first half.
