Film Session: Maryland

The Terrapins again don’t really get much of anything going early in the shot clock a few minutes later as we see Jake Layman enter the ball to Diamond Stone and lead him towards the baseline:
As Stone turns and faces Thomas Bryant and moves towards the bucket, Collin Hartman sinks down for the double team:
Stone spins back towards the paint and Hartman is able to strip the ball:
It’s loose and Bryant and Stone battle for posssession:
Stone ends up recovering the ball back and passes to Jared Nickens with just one second remaining on the shot clock:
Nickens barely gets off a contested 3-pointer before the shot clock expires as Nick Zeisloft does a nice job of closing out. It doesn’t drop and Bryant secures the rebound for IU:
Nice work on the double team from Hartman as Maryland not getting anything going until late in the clock forced a desperation contested 3-pointer.
