Film Session: Nebraska

Here’s Nebraska sending an extra defender at the Hoosiers again, leaving Williams space once more. This time, White has slid over to help out on a Johnson drive:

Johnson makes the pass to Williams and he’s got a wide lane to the basket:

Williams shot fakes first:

As Williams heads to the hoop, he’s got three Cornhuskers converging. Max Bielfeldt is wide open on the left wing with his hands up as Hammond has come down to meet Williams at the rim. But Williams keeps going:

And somehow gets a shot up and over the three defenders, hits it and is fouled in the process as the rest of IU’s offense is spread around the perimeter:
