Out of the trap defense again, Niego passes to Robert Johnson. Hartman is hanging out on the left side of the court:
As Johnson gets the pass, Hartman streaks through to the top of the key and Johnson makes the pass:
Hartman keeps coming as the defense converges on him:
And he puts it in for Indiana to grab the one-point lead:
Hartman continues to show he’s a threat on the drive for Indiana this season.
On the other end of the court, Gesell has gotten into some trouble and Niego and Bielfeldt are double teaming him near the left block. Niego knocks the ball loose:
As Gesell tries to recover, he touches the ball with his foot out of bounds. IU ball:
If Niego’s jumper got the crowd going again, this defensive effort got them to a fever pitch.
