Film Session: Notre Dame
With under a minute to go and Indiana up two points, Bryant is paying attention to Colson and Notre Dame doesn’t enter him the ball. Instead they swing it around the perimeter:
The ball gets to Jackson and Colson looks to set a ball screen. Ferrell is able to get over the top of it:
Jackson reverses course and heads right. Ferrell sticks right with him. Here comes Troy Williams to pick Jackson’s pocket and take off down the court:
Williams was fouled and made both at the line to give Indiana a four-point lead:
The Hoosiers kept Colson, who had a game high 24 points, out of the picture on this possession. Ferrell applied the pressure on Jackson. And Williams, who had a great second half, finished it off with the steal and two points at the line.
