In the second half, Ferrell is guarded by Spike Albrecht. The Hoosiers spread the floor and he has room to create against the smaller opponent:

So Ferrell simply makes a move and gets into the paint by going left. Michigan’s defense starts to think about helping as Williams looms in the short corner:

They collapse on Ferrell and he knifes the pass through to Williams:

Indiana’s done a great job of working the short corner this season when its guards get into the lane and draw the defense. It’s an area of the court Williams has excelled at working since his freshman season.
