Film Session: Late game miscues

Here’s another botched inbounds. Indiana again sets up to break the press:
Vonleh screens for Austin Etherington as he heads away from the ball. Stanford Robinson is heading away from the ball as well:
Vonleh then moves over to get a body on someone to get Ferrell open, but he doesn’t and Frazier comes off Robinson and begins to move to meet Ferrell in the paint:
Ferrell cuts out towards the right corner:
This is a tough angle — unlike when Ferrell got himself free in front of Hollowell on the first highlighted play — but Sheehey tries the pass anyway. Frazier gets a hand on it for the steal:
And passes on his back to a streaking Ross Travis:
Sheehey quickly fouls him:
He’d hit one of two at the line to pull the Nittany Lions within one. Vonleh would turn it over on the next inbounds; Frazier would hit a lay-up after a Penn State timeout; Ferrell’s shot didn’t drop at the buzzer to end the game.
