Vonleh tries to get position on the left block, but Alex Guana fronts him:

Guana continues to front:

Ferrell ends up leading Vonleh toward the left corner on the pass and he faces up:

Vonleh makes a pretty good move toward the hoop and gathers:

But with more ground to cover and some hesitation, the help defense is able to come and his shot is blocked out of bounds:

Michigan State did a better job of making catches harder for Vonleh in the second half and this wasn’t the only time he caught the ball too far away from the basket.
