Film Session: Demps’ run

The closeout shot came on Northwestern’s next possession. And surprise, surprise: Here’s the Wildcats killing the shot clock again and spreading the floor as Olah sets another high ball screen for Demps:
Because of some switching earlier in the possession, Sheehey was guarding Olah and he’s here to help Ferrell and stop the ball:
Sheehey continues to stay with Demps in the lane as he looks to step back:
Demps gets a bit of separation:
And rises to shoot the stepback jumper. Sheehey is able to get a hand in and stuck with him strong here, but Demps was hot and this dagger shot fell to essentially give the Wildcats a victory:
